Larry is a qualified counsellor and a fully accredited member of the NAPCP. He completed a two year full-time residential Diploma in Counselling in 2015 with Galilee House of Studies. His initial training was as a Rogerian Person Centred Counsellor. Throughout the years, he has added other approaches to his work with a particular interest in existential therapy. It is important to him that he respects the client and works within a safe and welcoming space which is non judgemental and allows the client to fully engage in therapy. Larry has been working in private practice since 2015. He also works with Pieta for the past six years as a counsellor working with people who are suicidal, self harming or bereaved by suicide. Larry’s outside interests are in hillwalking, cycling, open water swimming and travelling. His previous careers were in retail and change management.
